International Day of Action in support of the People’s War in India: Finland

As part of the International Day of Action in support of the People’s War in India, two demonstrations were held simultaneously in Helsinki and in Tampere. Below a report with pictures.

Helsinki: Demonstration at the Embassy of India, 9th of July

As part of the International Day of Action on 9th of July, a small demonstration in support of the People’s War in India was organized at the Embassy of India in Helsinki, Finland. There was a speech that denounced imperialism and counterrevolutionary war waged by the Indian reaction. In the end, the demonstrators shouted the common slogans: Long live People’s War in India! Down with imperialism! Proletarians and peoples of the world, unite!

Tampere: Demonstration at the central square, 9th of July

On the same day, in the central square of Tampere, a demonstration was held in support of the people’s war in India. A speech was held in the demonstration, which described the situation in India and told about the significance of the people’s war. At the scene, there were many passers-by and masses spending their free time, a few of which came to discuss with the demonstrators and expressed sympathies. In the beginning and in the end, demonstrators shouted the common slogans: Long live People’s War in India! Down with imperialism! Proletarians and peoples of the world, unite!
