Report from Tampere

On Tuesday 30th of August, in response to the Call for International Day of Action, there was a small manifestation in support of Dr. Ernesto Sernas García and the democratic and revolutionary movement in Mexico. The action denounced the forced disappearance committed by the old Mexican state, demanding he be presented alive. In the manifestation, a speech was presented, and some by-passers masses listened to the speech despite a sudden rain.

Report from Helsinki

In a proletarian neighborhood in Helsinki, leaflets were handed out as part of the international day of action to present Dr. Sernas alive, on Tuesday 30th of August. The case of Dr. Sernas and the broader social situation in Mexico was discussed with the masses, both in the leaflet and in spoken discussions. Masses from all walks of life were keen to learn about the subject, considering it important subject. Some masses explicitly thanked the activists for good work. Even though in Finland the living conditions are getting harsher for the masses due to high inflation, they show much care for the affairs of far-away countries and understand the importance of internationalism.
